My time spent in the UK was fantastic. I had a very blessed opportunity to stay with my cousin Sarah, her husband Dave, and their little one Cole. They took me in and treated me very well during my stay as I would come and go on various trips. It was such a blast getting to know them better as well as hang out and play with Cole. I was in and out of their house from March until August, sometimes staying for a short while and other times being lazy and taking weeks to get going again.

With Dave working for the airlines, he was able to help me with cheap flights which was amazing! I could practically fly anywhere in Europe for a small cost and this helped a ton as I would meet up with my family and friends. On top of that, he was always willing to take me to the airport as well as pick me up. This was very generous and I can’t say how much I appreciated it all!

The days spent in the house were very nice for me watching tv, catching up on the blog, and surfing the web. Many of the things I don’t get to do while on the road. I would also get to hang out with Cole and go to the park with him and Sarah. We also had some fun nights running around playing in the house.

Well, we all know I like food, but my cooking skills are kinda lacking to say the least…Sarah was amazing and ended up making dinner all the time and it was always top notch. I can’t say thank you enough! Some nights I was put on grilling duty which was a blast and Dave and I would also enjoy pints of his homebrew.

There was a local bike shop not far from the house I would frequent and ended up getting to know Joe and Matt, the two mechanics there. Trisports is a great shop and the staff were very friendly. Joe even took me out one night to ride Chicksands Bike Park which was a blast to ride even though I was a bit rusty. Thanks guys for all the help and work you put into my bike!

My time in the UK was very relaxing and just what I needed. I can’t say thank you enough to Dave, Sarah, and Cole. It was such a laid back atmosphere. Their generosity and kindness was way more than I could’ve ever asked for or expected. I know it’s not easy having another person in the house! All in all I’m sure I’m missing many things but I owe them big time the next time they are in Az!
